Sumyr Lynne Baird

Sumyr Lynne Baird was born May 31, 1976 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was adopted at 3 months to her loving parents Michael and Sharon Baird. Sumyr accepted Christ at 12 years of age and was baptized at Christ Church. Sumyr attended Indianapolis Public School #106 and later graduated from North Central Night School. Sumyr worked with her father in his store, Mike’s Stop and Shop for fifteen years.  She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. 

Sumyr Lynne Baird departed this life on November 8, 2021 at the age of 45.  She was preceded in death by her biological mother, Betty Couch and two brothers, Michael Couch and Timothy Hughes. 

She leaves to cherish her memory her sons, Michael Owens (Allison Thomas) and Alexander Williams; four grandchildren, Maliah, Michael, Madelyn and Milo Owens; parents, Michael and Sharon Baird; brother, David Couch; godsister, Marta Bell; godbrother, Brian Webb; special friend, Herbert Taylor, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
