Robert Douglas Ramseur, “Bo Ram” was born February 23, 1942, in the city of Harlan, Kentucky to Paul Ramseur and Gladis Holts. Robert attended St. Grace School and graduated from Lincoln High School, in Milwaukee Wisconsin, with the “Class of 1960”.

Robert then was employed by BH Gardener in Indianapolis, Indiana, afterwards joining General Motors Corporation as a production line worker as well as a forklift operator, where he retired after 30 years of service. He loved working for General Motors.

Robert, as a kid, enjoyed riding bikes and fishing. He was a big boxing fan and enjoyed traveling. He loved music and dancing to the Old School songs. Robert loved cooking on the grill, feeding people, and partying in the backyard. He also enjoyed watching television.

Robert Douglas Ramseur, “Bo Ram”, 79 years young, went to be with the Lord on Friday March 19, 2021, in the comfort of his home, in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his brother Paul Edward Ramseur.

Robert is survived by his sister Betty Holts, sister Patricia Ramseur Norman; girlfriend and significant other of thirty years, Sharon Benson; children, Paulette Ward, (daughter) of Hiram Georgia, Saliou Douglas Ramseur, (son), of Indianapolis IN. and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
