Richard Lee Curry, Sr

Richard Lee Curry, Sr was born August 19, 1944, in
Indianapolis, Indiana to Frank Curry Sr, and Sarah Elizabeth
Curry.
He accepted Christ as his Savior at an early age and became a
member of Corinthian Baptist Church.
Richard attended Indianapolis Public School #37 and Arsenal
Technical High School.
Richard enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, and civic
organizations.
He retired from the Indiana Department of Correction after close to
40 years of public service.
Richard Lee Curry, Sr transitioned from time to eternity on
August 29, 2023, at the age of 79. He was preceded in death by his
wife Brenda.
He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Richard L. Curry, Jr.
(Kimberly), Becky Davidson (Mark) Ricky Curry, (Cynthia) Joy
Curry, Renee Jackson, Robin Jackson, Nikidra Curry, special
niece, and his brother, William Edward Curry. In addition,
Richard leaves a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a
great-great-grand child, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family
members and friends.
