Lillie F. Dodson was born February 3, 1931 in Clarksville, Tennessee to Lula Mae Herring.
Lillie moved from Clarksville, Tennessee to Indianapolis Indiana at the young age of nine with her parents, siblings and cousins. Lil is what most people called Lillie.
Lil attended Indianapolis Public School #12 and Crispus Attucks High School. Lillie was a dedicated wife, mother, sister, aunt, cousin. She was a homemaker helped the family out any way that she could and opened her doors for a place to stay. She loved bingo, playing poker, deuces, spades just about any card game there was to play. She loved to cook and clean her home. Lillie had a different way of showing her love to you. Her house was so clean you could eat off the floor.
