Kevin Murphy

Kevin Murphy was born April 25, 1878 to Kyra L. Munroe and Willie Conley Murphy in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

He received his education in the Philadelphia Public School System.

In 2012 Kevin moved to Indianapolis to start his new life with his sweetheart Stephanie, and they were married the same year.

Kevin was a hard worker. He spent from 2014 to 2020 as a parking attendant at the Indiana State Fair.  He also worked for the Double 8 food chains and as a dishwasher at Kilroy’s. When not working for a company, he used his trade skills that he learned over the years in dry wall, painting, and lawn care.

Kevin was a good provider, loved to sing and spend time with his family.

Kevin Murphy departed this life on December 20, 2021 and was preceded in death by his parents, and special aunt Tanya Munroe.

He leaves to remember his love for them, his wife, Stephanie Murphy; children, Daquan Brown, Kiara Murphy, Kylind Murphy, Ka’Marie Grayson; stepchildren, Daniel Tyler, Jr., Marquise Grayson, Nyreeja Patterson, Avery Thompson, Omari Grayson; grandchildren, Daniel Tyler III, Zah’Tavione Eisenhuth; brother, Conley Munroe; sister Kia Munroe-Wood (Luther) cousin, Desi Brothers, and other relatives and friends
