Elizabeth Ann Murff

Elizabeth Murff was born October 16, 1983 to Johnny Murff and Alice Jean Starks in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was an only child. She received her education in the public schools of Indianapolis, Indiana.

Elizabeth, met the love of her life, William Torrance, 20 years ago. During that time, they raised three beautiful children and their love was resilient.  

Elizabeth devoted her life to being a loving mother and a devoted partner. Elizabeth (Bookey or Liz) enjoyed listening to music, going to the park with her children, and watching her son play basketball, but most of all she loved cooking for her family. Many times Elizabeth would cook a bunch of food, and have her friends and family gathered around enjoying life and having fun.

Elizabeth was truly a loving mother, a caring daughter, a thoughtful sister, and a friend that was unmatched by no other. She loved to have a good time and be around her family. Her children, son Savion, daughters Taraji and Zendaya, were her everything. Elizabeth was truly dedicated to being the best mommy in the world.

Elizabeth Ann Murff departed this life on Thursday January 27, 2022. She was preceded in her death by her mother Alice Jean Starks, her maternal grandparents Alfred Vernon Starks and Carol Jean Bunnell Starks, and paternal grandfather Jesse Murff Sr.

She leaves to cherish the loving memory the love of her life William Torrance; son, Savion Torrance; daughters, Taraji Torrance and Zendaya Torrance; father, Johnny Murff and stepmother Lisa Foreman; grandmother, Elizabeth Ann Murff; three brothers, Brandon Murff, Christopher Murff, Nicholas Murff; three sisters, Nikkia Murff, Brianna Murff, Megan Murff; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
