Bessie Estien

Bessie Estien was born to JT Walker Sr. and Susie Mae Walker on September 19, 1962 in West Point, Mississippi, prior to moving to Indianapolis, Indiana.

Bessie attended Arsenal Technical High School, professed her life to Christ as a child, and raised her children to love the Lord, while attending Robinson Temple Church of God and Christ.

Bessie married Jorge Estien on December 8, 1982. Bessie and Jorge have three children, Lakesha, Ramon, and Joshua.

Additionally, Bessie enjoyed going to bingo and traveling.  Bessie was a caring soul who loved her children, grandchildren, the rest of her family, and close friends. 

Bessie departed this life on November 21, 2020, and she was preceded in death by her mother, Susie Mae Walker, her father, JT Walker Sr., and her brother, JT Walker Jr.

Bessie leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Jorge Estien; sons, Ramon Estien and his children Sekaria, Alexis, Aaleigha, Jaeden and Tristan Estien,  and Joshua Estien (Janneil) and their children Cameron Estien, Chris Strickland, Cayden Estien , Caleb Estien; daughter, Lakesha Estien Cunningham (Jason) and their children Dashia Hinton, Darian Sangster, Nlake Paige and Ava Cunningham and one great-grandchild Drew Hoyle; sisters, Lois Johnson, Yvette Walker, Sabrina Walker Snorden (Howard); brother Tommie Walker (Samella) and a host of other relatives and friends.
